MetronLog ("we", "us") is a workout and nutrition tracking app.
This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices.
We do not sell your personal data.
Information we collect
You provide this data by using the app:
- Account & authentication — your email address and
authentication credentials, used to create and secure your account.
- Workout data — exercises, sets, reps, weights, RPE, and sessions you log.
- Workout templates — routines you create.
- Nutrition entries — food items and amounts you log, and your goals.
- Body metrics — body weight and measurements you choose to record.
- Prep & check-ins — prep details and check-ins, if you use those features.
- Reminder preferences — your notification settings (stored on your device).
We do not collect Apple Health data, contacts, photos, or precise location.
How we use your data
- To provide the core app features (logging, progress, templates, reminders).
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate and improve the app.
Your training, nutrition, and body data is private to your account and is shown only to you.
Service providers
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your data is stored
with row-level security so only your account can access it.
- Brevo — sends transactional authentication emails (sign-up confirmation,
password reset) on our behalf.
- PostHog (if/when enabled) — privacy-friendly product analytics. We send only
anonymous product events and never your email, name, food names, exercise/workout notes,
exact body weight, or exact nutrition values. Session replay is not used.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, we collect anonymous product-usage events (for example, that a
workout was completed, with non-sensitive metadata like a count of sets). We do not use this
to identify you and do not track the sensitive content you enter.
Data export
You can export all of your data from the app at any time (Profile → Data → Export my data) as a JSON file.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app
(Profile → Danger zone → Delete account). This is immediate and irreversible.

Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is removed.
Children
MetronLog is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
